sox is a new work of found music by American programmer and new media artist Ben Olsen. Described as algorithmic sound excavation, these pieces are derived (sourced) from binaries files themselves (i.e. the sonic representation of various digital data). Olsen states, "If one's hearing becomes focused in the right way, all is music."
